Deep experience
where it matters.
This is not sector familiarity gathered from the outside. Our principal, Jordan Millar, founded and led ChekRite, an inspection and asset-management platform used across construction, mining and manufacturing, in some of the most demanding operating environments there are: heavy equipment, remote sites, and safety-critical work where getting it wrong is expensive. Making technology succeed in those conditions, on real sites and with real crews, teaches you what actually matters to the people who run them. The understanding on this page was earned there, not observed from a distance.
Construction
Clarity across dispersed sites.
Construction and civil work is dispersed by nature: multiple sites, layers of subcontractors, plant and equipment in constant motion, and compliance obligations that leave no room for guesswork. The hard part is rarely the technology itself. It is getting a true picture of what is happening in the field without adding burden to the people already doing the work. The best decisions here tend to be the unglamorous ones, the ones that give leaders real visibility and give crews less paperwork, not more.
Companies Jordan worked with through ChekRite include CPB Contractors, BMD, Ghella and Fletcher Construction.
Mining
High consequence, low tolerance.
Mining raises the stakes on everything. Operations run around the clock across long distances, downtime carries an enormous cost, and safety is not negotiable. Information that is a day old can be worse than none, because it invites confident decisions built on a stale picture. Technology earns its place here when it is reliable enough to trust in harsh conditions and current enough to act on. The bar is higher than almost anywhere, and unforgiving of solutions that look good in a demo but fail in the pit.
Companies Jordan worked with through ChekRite include Macmahon, Ok Tedi and Downer.
Manufacturing
Consistency, caught early.
Manufacturing rewards repeatability. Value comes from doing the same thing the same way every time, and from catching the moment something drifts before a single defect becomes a whole batch. That makes it a discipline of process and early signal: embedding best practice into the work itself, and surfacing problems while they are still small and cheap to fix. Technology that adds steps tends to be worked around. Technology that quietly holds the standard tends to stick.
Companies Jordan worked with through ChekRite include Penske, Superior Pak and TruFlo.
Other Sectors
The pattern matters more than the label.
The sector name matters less than the shape of the problem. ChekRite was used well beyond these three industries, across transport, logistics, equipment hire and more, and the common thread was always the same: asset-intensive, field-based operations where people, equipment and compliance meet away from a desk. Wherever that shape appears, the same judgement applies. Good decisions about technology are not confined to one industry, and neither is the experience behind them.
Does this sound
like your world?
If your operation runs on assets, people and compliance in the field, we should talk.
